This is Home Fest (TIHF) presented by Lake Charles Toyota is a vibrant all-day cultural festival that breathes life into Southwest Louisiana (SWLA). Nestled in the heart of Lake Charles, Louisiana, we’ve curated an experience that enriches the tapestry of our city. Immerse yourself in live music across multiple stages, explore curated art vendors and of course, indulge your taste buds with an array of culinary delights from local cuisines. Come celebrate why This is Home one beat, brushstroke and bite at a time.
TIHF was created in 2021 in response to the natural disasters that hit SWLA in a back-to-back punch. We recognized the need to give residents of SWLA something to look forward to, a reason to celebrate home. From day one, our mission has been to improve the quality of life in SWLA through music and the arts. TIHF is a free festival held on the Lakefront in Downtown Lake Charles every second to last weekend in April. As our festival grows, our reach and quality of talent continues to grow as well.

This Is Home Fest President, Trenton mays
Trenton Mays is a Lake Charles–based architect and community advocate, serving as President of This Is Home Fest. A board member for five years, he helps lead the festival’s mission of celebrating what makes this place “home.” This Is Home Fest activates Lake Charles’ greatest natural asset, its lakefront, transforming the park into a showcase of pride, creativity, resilience, and community for all of Southwest Louisiana.
